Welcome

Thank you for visiting our Academy. BDA, was established for the sole purpose of assisting in the development of any student who desires to be the best he or she can be in the game of basketball.

Our students are not only trained year-round in the skills of the game, but the understanding of it. We believe basketball is an extension of life, and the trials and lessons learned and often overcome in basketball can be a helpful tool when addressing life’s lessons. Our students are trained to be courteous, respectful, disciplined and structured. Academics and behavior are a vital part of the development of our students. Bi-monthly grade checks are strictly enforced.

Tournaments, throughout the United States, that are available for our students to participate in, are often attended by college coaches. Our goal is to equip each student with the necessary mental and physical skills that will best enable them to receive high school accolades and offers of college scholarships. BDA emphasizes the way our students and parents portray themselves on and off the court, as this could make the difference in receiving a scholarship to attend college.We are very excited by our professional presence in the following locations: Seattle, WA; Hamilton, Bermuda; Reno; Atlanta and our newest in Southern California. And soon to add Australia. The youth in these communities are receiving the best skills and comprehension training available.

Our Founder is Stacey Scott, who is also the Founder of the BDA/SBBA, Seattle from the state of Washington in the United States. BDA/SBBA has now merged into the capable hands of former BDA student, Kelly Edwards and LocalHoops of the Puget Sound area. As the new Owner/Director at BDA Seattle, Coach Kelly will be a major influence in the Puget Sound area. In support, Stacey has an extensive professional training resume assisting players/students from across the United States of America and is working closely with all locations. His focus, dedication and passion to develop students has had a profound affect on hundreds of students over the years. Please visit our testimonial page for further information.
